Boxing

Boxing is a functional, fun, high paced, high energy form of fitness training. It emphasis on the fitness of your body as well as being a lot of fun. It is safe and it is “No Contact Boxing”.

If you’re self-conscious about your arms and tummy then boxing is a great way to help towards building some lean muscle*. Through a series of quick-paced hooks, swoops and uppercuts you target the shoulders, arms, back and core; tightening and toning with each punch. Unlike regular lifting, the intense speed of boxing helps build endurance and burns fat, all whilst helping towards building a tight core.

Resistance training with boxing is a fun way help with strength, power, and stamina.

Boxing is a full body workout that will get your heart pumping*, so caution is always advised depending on your medical condition.

Think Rocky meets HIIT, with lots of stress-busting benefits to boot. The explosive movements required of boxing work the body aerobically whilst also developing the fast-twitch fibers in the body which build muscle.

It’s all about packing a mean punch and the powerful feeling that comes with it!

When done under supervision, Boxing is for everyone and there is no age or ability limit.

What you can expect is a warm up, main ‘workout’ session, and a cool down/stretching session. The main workout session will include skipping, punching, running, jumping, ducking & weaving, punching sit-ups, and depending on how hard you work during a class, you may or may not be given additional burpees as punishment.
