Bike & Burn is a Mountain Biking class designed to build on endurance, core strength, balance and bike handling skills. If you love the Outback then this is definitely for you!
Depending on the route you take it can be primarily on road or off road trails in the mountains. The timescale per session is dependent on which routes you chose.
The route times vary from 90 minutes (for all levels of fitness) to 8-hour sessions (advanced level fitness is required).
There are a lot of inclines, downhills and rocky roads. Be prepared to get dirty and sweaty. You will get up close and personal with Mother Nature as on some routes there is no “civilization”.
It is essential that all riders carry a bottle of water and depending on which route you chose, for the advanced routes, I insist on a backpack which consists a water bladder, food and snacks, sun cream and of course a… bathing suit/bikini as there is a waterfall to plunge into!
